Meet in Nottingham, the official Convention Bureau for Nottingham and Nottinghamshire charged with helping companies and associations to find and book world-class venues in the city, will be showcasing everything the city and county have to offer at the prestigious The Meetings Show on the 26th and 27th June 2019 and will be accompanied by the city’s most famous figure, Robin Hood.

The Meetings Show is the UK’s number one visited MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions) exhibition and will welcome over 5000 industry professionals in 2019. Robin Hood will be joining the Meet in Nottingham stand to generate interest and curiosity and help to draw in more visitors and hosted buyers. Visitors to the stand will have the chance to meet Robin Hood and find out about how his legend lives on in Nottingham.

With support from Robin Hood, Meet in Nottingham will use this invaluable opportunity to showcase its new website, launched at the end of 2018. The website provides information about the highly varied range of conference venues available in Nottingham (from a 10,000 seat arena to a meeting room in the Grade I listed Nottingham Castle overlooking the city to a unique virtual reality gaming arena), with detailed information about capacity, facilities, and equipment, all with stunning imagery and an improved visitor journey.

Team Nottingham will also be running a competition on their stand showcasing Nottingham’s team building offer. The visitors to the stand can be in with a chance of winning an Escapologic escape room session for 5 people – a unique corporate and team building activity.

Meet in Nottingham will be joined on the exhibition stand by representatives from the Nottingham Conference Centre, De Vere East Midlands Conference Centre, Motorpoint Arena Nottingham and Stage Connections.
