Part of Nottingham Trent University, the centre opened in 2010 after a multi-million pound redevelopment of two Grade II* listed buildings and effortlessly blends modern and contemporary spaces with Victorian splendour.

Keeping it green

Caring for the environment is high on the venue’s agenda. The Centre features two green sedum roofs which absorb carbon dioxide and provide an oasis for wildlife in the middle of the city. The building also boasts numerous other green technologies including smart lifts, intelligent lighting and sustainable heating and cooling systems.

Flexible event options

The venue can host a wide range of events for between 6 and 500 delegates. These include corporate meetings, exhibitions, international conferences, gala dinners, Christmas parties and weddings.

One of the most notable events hosted at the centre was 2011 Prince’s Trust Winter Ball where the venue was transformed into a winter wonderland for the black-tie event which raised more than £50,000 for the charity.
