Following the signing of a Friendship Agreement between Nottinghamshire and the Chinese province of Zhejiang a free event is offering local firms the opportunity to learn more about doing business in China.
The China-Britain Business Council (CBBC) training event provides an awareness of China and Chinese business culture and an insight into how misunderstandings can arise (and be overcome) during business interactions with Chinese people. Trainees will also learn about practical skills that can make business interactions with China more successful.
The session is aimed at companies that are about to export to China for the first time or those looking to increase their China business.
Attendees will gain:
- An increased understanding about China and the mind set of Chinese people
- An increased understanding of Chinese culture and its influence on doing business
- An increased confidence and effectiveness in communicating and maintaining relationships with Chinese partners
The half-day training session will be facilitated by CBBC, hosted by Nottinghamshire County Council and supported by the Department for International Trade (DIT).
