We would like to congratulate the Nottingham Conference Centre for winning the Business Tourism of the Year Award in the Nottinghamshire STARS Awards 2013.

The STARS Awards are an annual celebration of tourism in Nottinghamshire, rewarding the best in the leisure, culture, tourism and hospitality sectors in the county. It’s an amazing opportunity to recognise all the hard work of the best businesses in the county. It is also a chance to thank the people and organisations which contribute to the tourism sector in Nottinghamshire.

The Business Tourism of the Year Award winner, the Nottingham Conference Centre, opened on 22 March 2010 after a multi-million redevelopment two of Nottingham Trent University’s iconic Grade II* listed buildings, Newton and Arkwright. Its flexible and unique spaces include large tiered and flat floor lecture theatres, naturally-lit meeting rooms and executive boardrooms. The Conference Centre offers the latest, fully integrated audio-visual technology across all its spaces and free Wi-Fi access throughout the venue.

The Nottingham Conference Centre has a wide academic and local customer base and has recently hosted organisations such as The Prince’s Trust, PepsiCo and the European Foundation for Management Development.  It also hosts various national and repeat business from Boots UK, Experian, Specsavers, Capital One, Avery Dennison and Games Workshop.

We’re really proud to win this prestigious accolade and feel it really reflects the team’s hard work during the past year. Nottingham Conference Centre has made great strides forward and it’s a real honour to be handed this award for all our efforts.

Having recently gained MIA Gold Accreditation our main focus is to continue to provide all our clients and prospective clients with the high standard of service they deserve.
We have a new website in development which will be launched before the end of the year and are developing our wedding packages to better suit our customer requests and feedback.
