Visitors to Nottingham can enjoy the best in British dining at the newly refurbished Verve Bar & Grill at the Village Urban Resort Nottingham. The hotel is a popular choice for conferencing and events, and attendees can now enjoy a first class dining experience at the new restaurant located onsite.
Following a £150,000 refurbishment programme, the Verve Bar & Grill offers modern dining with a focus on quality local produce, reflected by the strap line “from field to village”. The new design is bold and modern, using white, greys and blues with a touch of retro inspiration.
The menu offers something for everyone, whether you’re after a quality steak, a vegetarian option, or something celebrating the flavours of the British countryside.
For starters, try delicious Somerset Brie coated in breadcrumbs and served with an apricot glaze or smoked haddock fishcake served with poached egg, buttered kale and a grain mustard sauce. Main meals include slow roast belly of pork with bubble & squeak, scrumptious BBQ ribs and crab and chilli linguini in a sauce infused with ginger and fennel. To finish, choose from British classics including Eton Mess, Sticky Toffee Pudding or a selection of British Artisan Cheeses including Cropwell Bishop Stilton from the nearby local dairy.
The vibrant new-look restaurant has seating for 160 people, and event organisers hosting conferences at the Village Urban Resort Nottingham can host lunch or dinner in the restaurant for their delegates.
