British American Coaches Association (BAFCA) confirmed the dates and the venue for this year’s convention. The event will take place between 27th – 29th May 2016.
We are delighted to say that BAFCA confirmed, for the first time in the associations’ 35 year history, National Ice Centre in Nottingham as the host of their prestigious event.
Competition to host this event was intense, so when asked to explain the decision to come to Nottingham in 2016, BAFCA Vice President Rob Orr said:
“While it was imperative for our convention to be centrally located in the UK, with excellent access and public transport links, accessible from across the country, it was more important that the event be hosted in a city and venue that reflected our associations’ aims and ambitions for this prestigious annual coaches gathering” Orr continued “Nottingham and the NIC ticked all of the boxes in this regard, which made the decision for our selection committee quite straightforward.”
Working in partnership with Experience Nottinghamshire’s Nottingham Event Team, special rate hotel deals for delegates will be announced shortly.
