Our very own Gaynor England will be representing Experience Nottinghamshire and Event Team at this year’s Ikano Robin Hood Marathon and Half Marathon which takes place on 28th September.
Gaynor will be part of Nottingham Means Business (NMB) Team which has been brought together by our Ambassador and organization’s chief executive Simon Gray as part of the Nottingham Post’s Corporate Relay Challenge. As well as Gaynor and Simon the team also includes David Bishop, corporate director of development at the City Council, Councillor Nick McDonald, the City Council’s portfolio holder for jobs and growth, Paul Brown, from the county’s Chamber of Commerce, Amy Macdonald, from PR firm Cartwright Communications, Ceila Morris, group manager corporate strategy at Nottinghamshire County Council, Jayne Francis-Ward, corporate director at Nottinghamshire County Council, and Jonathan English, managing director at Skeleton Productions.
The deadline for firms to assemble their teams is the end of this month, so if you and your organisation wants to participate visit the Robin Hood Marathon website and fill in the entry form.
There must be a minimum of four people in the team, with at least two of the team running the 13.1-mile route of the Ikano Robin Hood Half Marathon and two people running the 1.5-mile course of the Ikano Robin Hood Mini Marathon.
All the money raised through the Robin Hood Marathon will be donated to CityCare, an organization which provides health services both in the home and in health centres across Nottingham.
We’re extremely pound that Gaynor decided to represent us in this great initiative, and would like to wish the whole Team best of luck at completing the marathon.
