The Canalhouse is one of Nottingham’s most unique pubs, famous for housing an internal canal basin and two resident narrow boats. Located just a few minutes’ walk from Nottingham Station, the Canalhouse is a fine example of industrial architecture, and is a spacious and characterful venue.

The first floor function room is a distinctive and versatile space, holding up to 100 people seated. With exposed brickwork, wooden beams and large factory windows, this charmingly rustic facility brings personality to any event. The function room is accessed through a private entrance, and comes complete with a private bar, a sound system, PA system, projector and free Wi-Fi.

The team at the Canalhouse pride themselves on delivering an excellent standard of service where your needs come first, and work to ensure every event is tailored to suit you.

On the ground floor you’ll find a large, welcoming bar with the most extensive drinks range in Nottingham. As a ‘Discover World Beers’ venue, the Canalhouse is a hub for craft beer drinkers, with over 200 beers sourced from around the globe. Operated by Nottingham’s most prolific brewery Castle Rock, the Canalhouse is renowned for serving an excellent pint of real ale, alongside a menu of carefully selected wines, spirits, traditional cider and locally sourced coffee.

Food at the Canalhouse changes seasonally, with a daily specials menu, and aims to offer dishes to suit all tastes and requirements. So if you’re popping downstairs for light snacks from the ‘Beer Bites’ menu, looking to refuel your team with a buffet, or indulging in a three course sit down dinner, there’s something to suit you.

If the sun is shining, why not finish your event with some drinks in the canal-side beer garden? If it’s too chilly, head into the main bar and enjoy an exceptional beer drinking experience, with guidance from our friendly, knowledgeable and passionate staff.
